How To Be a True Ravenclaw!!

Do you wish to be wise? Do you wish to be calm, and sensible? Then your house would definitely be Ravenclaw. They aren't the most heroic, but they are definitely not cowards. They are very smart and uummm....very, very cool(in my opinion). Here's some tips on how to be a Ravenclaw....

  • If a giant troll was walking(actually, more like stumbling) towards you, you would most definitely not scream something like "run a-WAAAAAAAAAAAAy!". You would probably think clearly and calmly and try to find the best solution to stop the stupid beast without putting yourself or anyone else in danger. Now, I'm not saying that you would neccisarily find a way to stop the troll, but you wouldn't put anyone in danger to stop it just because you didn't.

  • If you found out that some evil doings(don't ask me what though) were going on in your school, you would find out who was behind them(them being the evil doings), then tell anyone of authority(like a teacher) what you found out and let them deal with it. If you tried to stop it yourself that would be stupid as you are just a kid, and you wouldn't want to hurt yourself or others around you because you wanted to be the hero.

  • If a black-hooded ghost-like thing in the woods(how else am I supposed to describe that thingie?) looked as though it was about to attack you, which I'm not sure is entirely possible considering a black hood was covering his face, you would probably look at the thing calmly and sloooooooowly back away, always keeping eye contact with it. You would not try and startle it in any way, so that if it looked away(if that's possible) you would run away without it even noticing.

  • If Hagrid tried to make you take some of his rock cakes home with you for you to eat when you get hungry, you would do what most people would do. You would take them, thank him, then hide them away or feed them to your dog. You would not mention them to him again, and if he asked about them the next day, you would change the subject, so as not to hurt his feelings but not to tell a white lie.

  • If your house(that being Ravenclaw, obviously) was having a very VERY big match of quidditch, and you discovered that the opposing team was cheating to help them win, you would most likely tell someone of authority(like a teacher) about the cheating to force the opposing team to stop cheating. You would then hope that they would not cheat again, as you want a fair match.

  • Should you stumble upon an invisibility cloak that once belonged to your dead father, or mother, or grandfather, or brother, etc., you would put it on, but only in your room, and not in front of anyone else, and then you would most likely put it away and think of it as a memory of your lost relative, instead of using it around the school, like most people would do.

  • Say your assumed-to-be-killer godfather shows up in the middle of the night, you not knowing that he was your godfather and thinking that he was the one to kill you parents, you would most likely tell someone of authority(seeing a pattern yet?) about it and try not to mention it again. You wouldn't make up some story about how you forced him out of your room or something like that. If you told anyone about it, what you told them would be the truth.
