Invitation To The Game- Lizardbreath's Review
I like ANY book by Monica Hughes, but I particularly liked this one. I read it awhile ago so I'll probably leave out some details but...Anyway, this book is set FAR in the future and when kids graduate from high school they are either chosen to do a certain job or they have to go live in this place specially for unemployed people. This book is about a group of kids, I can't remember all their names, who all don't get jobs, so they decide to all live together. They find a house, some furniture, clothes etc. One day they get invited to participate in this "game". They go to this guy's house and he puts them to sleep and they go into this other world. Its very beautiful there and they keep coming back to the man to go into the other world. If I told you more, I would give away the surprise at the end of the book, so you'll have to read it for yourself;)
